I am a web developer. I use Ruby and Rails. I work professionaly with a lot of other different languages and tools, such as: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Shell Script, Docker, AWS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, among others.
I use an almost barebones version of VSCode, with just a few extensions so it boots up as quickly as possible. One day, I plan to migrate away from it (miss you Atom).
I use Windows with WSL2 on my work computer, since it's owned by the company and not me.
I use Arch with Gnome on my personal laptop, since it's what I'm most familiar with.
I like open-source. Most of my daily drivers are open-source software.
I like to keep things simple.
I like to build stuff.
